THIS IS A RED CROSS POST. i really hate blogging about red cross. but i've got the urge to blog today. firstly because its like the eve of national day(happy national day in advance!!) and the first official meeting where we're ncos. before i talk about the meeting i really have to say something about the state of the red cross room. its RUBBISH. i tell you RUBBISH. and to think i've been longing for 3 years to just live inside the red cross room. amanda really has to do a lot of work to make the room livable.

okay now for the meeting. i thought today was a disaster. the first part of it anyway. i was in charge of planning the shifts and the whole freaking thing got screwed up. i was having a headache okay. AHHH. and i got scolded by all the 3 red cross teachers lah. AHHHH. i can't let that happen again for the hike too. i hiked with estelle just now. so tiring man. back to the meeting. it was a disaster also because of what happened AFTER ndp. oh the ndp formation and contingent were pretty good i thought. except for a few things. like for the contingent me and michelle put up our hands when sherry said to. haha. it was an honest mistake okay!! i didn't know! and sinlin didn't tell me not to. and i don't blame michelle also lah. she probably followed me. oh and the formation was okay, except for the ending which was a disaster. but i think the first half was good enough. lots of people said the redcross formation was cool. i didn't think it was that good at first but since so many people think so then i guess it was pretty good. i mean, if you don't trust the audience, who can you trust?

okay, this is the most horrible part-the punishments. okay. i know i'm an nco, but i still feel a bit of a pang in my heart when i see them doing all those pathetic punishments. haha. oh well. red cross is all about unfairness and punishments... its like a tradition. oh red cross is all about tradition too. i hope this year we can break lots of traditions. i love breaking traditions. esp red cross tradidions. because some of them are really ridiculous. like the names of the groups for camps. why must it be alpha, bravo, charlie... WHY WHY WHY??? okay that was a lame example.

back to the meeting. i honestly think the cadets were quite good. esp their uniforms. some were really fantastic. except the sec ones- their pleats were terrible. but everyone got scolded. i guess if you want to improve, you gotta do punishments. i think there were a lot of mixed feelings about the meeting today. mostly negative. but i really hope people don't gossip. firstly because gossip is bad(i sound like a teacher lah; wait, i am! hahah.) and secondly, the more you gossip, the lower your position in the hierachy. thats a quote from estelle. haha. was just on the phone with her. okay this is like the LOOOOOOONGEST red cross post ever. and i think its full of crap.

deliriouS.
