today was a fun day. yeah I know, I can’t believe it myself. we had red cross today, and I realized that actually, quite a lot of red crossers can sing!! haha what a revelation. oh, but I think our recre officer is quite mad at me and all those who left early without auditioning for dance. but face it, we’ll never be able to get in even if we try… we ate a waffletown today, quite nice actually! haha. anyway, i was watching tv just now and i know i really hate r&b, but i think beyonce's irreplacable is quite nice. i also think p.diddy's tell me is nice. i don't know, they just have nice tunes... oh and i think gwen stefani and fergie's videos are really similar. its like both of them have videos in imaginary worlds. like fergie's candy world and gwen's little children world. it's hilarious.

today was my last day at work! and i felt rather cheated, cos they didn't pay me. yet. yeah yeah, i know, its the experience that counts the most. i was a receptionist today. i learnt how to answer calls. that was kinda awesome. cos i felt very professional. you know, maybe if i can't become a lawyer i could be a receptionist. man u vs chelsea drawed. that was really expected. and jose's still acting happy. yeah right man. haha. oh i watched amazing race and it was interesting. i hate lyn and karen cos they were so mean to the chos. haha. i hold grudges. went to hmv today but couldn't find the saw loser cd. sheesh. i shall go look again tomorrow. its time for me to buy new cds. i'm currently listening to incubus on myspace. they're really not bad. especially anna-molly. i've never eaten so much in my entire life. haha. today was a blast, we had lunch with diana at pizza hut- and tried the new christmas pizza, which was pretty nice. then for dinner we went to new york new york! which was so cool. i had spagetti. the meatballs were SUPER HUGE. gigantic even. oh, i like AFI now. they are so punk rock. yeah! and in fact, they are online now. i think i shall go talk to them. i shall post a picture of AFI. and another one.

MY GOODNESS. the new trailer for harry potter is up. i shall post it here. cool huh. haha. yeah! i don't really like harry potter, but they are actually showing the video at 'happy feet' screenings in america. and the movie isn't until next july so its really weird. haha. aw man, jenny and rebecca are voted out of survivor.

today was a great eye opener.. i attended the wealth management conference at the supreme court. i never knew wealth could be so complicated. that people have to have trusts and everything. i learnt all about the singapore tax/financial system. i feel smart, you know. haha. like i know that maldives has both a common and civil law system. HA. bet you didn't know that. and the notes are really cool. they gave us a WHOLE FOOLSCAP PAD with the words singapore supreme court or something like that on it. i mean, who would have so much time during the conference to write so much stuff?? haha. but its really cool. and i got a free pen too! oh oh, and the food was super awesome. we had chocolate cake and cheesecake for dessert-- mmmm. makes my mouth water just thinking about it. i feel extremely clever now. hahaa. okay actually i didn't understand about 60% of the whole thing, but who cares!! haha.



oh, i met two new people today. one was this woman from a bank, she just sat down beside me so we started to talk to her and found out she was from scgs too! but we didn't get her namecard. i think she just didn't want to give it to me. the other person was this jc1 internship student from hwa chong. she made me realise something. that if i ever go to hwa chong, i wouldn't fit in cos my chinese just sucks. haha. it was really scary you know, to see someone who is so fluent in chinese but not in english. i got a culture shock. haha. i feel like posting pictures now. this is a pic of the supreme court auditorium!! cool huh! its big and super cold. like freezing. my teeth were actually chattering!!

oh man. i think the standard of living in singapore is dropping.. read todays papers(really!!!) and they said something about singaporeans being litterbugs. and most of them are like 30 and below, and students litter because of peer pressure. i mean, PEER PRESSURE?? haha. i think that's becoming an excuse for everything students do. its so easy to say it- peer pressure. hahaa. and i think we need another courtesy movement. because wherever i go i see people not being courteous. like on the mrt. i mean like, we're supposed to wait for the inside commuters to come out first right, but still so many people rush inside the train like its nobody's business. haha. okay. i find myself guilty of that sometimes, especially during peak hours. okay, i think i'm getting all grandmother-ish over all this. haha. oh man, tomorrow's gonna be one busy day!! we are going for this wealth management course at guess what- the SUPREME COURT AUDITORIUM!! haha. ain't that cool. i went there to prepare today, and my camera got confiscated. but i still took a picture with my phone. very soon they'll start confiscating phones. here's a pic of me, audrie and amanda at work!! haha. i hate taking pictures, so this is kinda precious. haha. okay.

wow.. guess what, i actually went to court today!! as part of work attachment of course. haha. it was really cool.. we went to the family & juvinile court with morris, who's a lawyer at david chong & co. it was super cool. everyone was in black and white, or all in black. hahaha. its like there was a dress code. and we went into this room on the second floor, it was totally soundproof, which meant that anything we did or said would be heard REALLY LOUDLY. haha. and our stomachs chose that time to GROWL loudly. audrie's growled first cos she had gastric. then mine and amanda's sounded. hahaha. it was super funny, so we had to try to cover up. we ate lots of mints and drank lots of water. but it didn't help much. haha. anyway, the case was really complicated, so of course the meeting was adjourned. i wouldn't mind going again, you know. its just SO interesting! ahhh. i wonder when i'll step into court again. you know, i envisioned myself in the judge's seat. haha. i know, abit far fetched- but i can dream, right??! haha. oh and we ate at secret recipe. my favourite dish ever is officially lasagne! i ate it like three times in two weeks!! haha. i'm officially going to get fat. can't wait for later!!! audrie and i are going SWIMMING... HEH HEH. i love new found glory!

ah, first day at work and it was not as disastrous as i expected. even though a lot of things went wrong. I KNEW from the start that the court shoes wouldn't fit me. but i still stubbornly wore them cos i thought they looked lawyer-ish. haha. i was wrong. they were like a burden the whole day. from the start to the end. audrie had to find a toilet so i could adjust my shoes and everything. pity her and amanda. they had to carry a burden like me. haha. anyway, we were split into three departments, i was in admin. it was kinda tiring , filing and everything, but at least the people were nice. haha. but i am not particularly excited about tomorrow. sighhh. haha. working life is kinda mundane. blearhhhh.

oh man, i was just telling audrie how scared i am of tomorrow. i am REALLY SCARED K. haha. i dunno why. i just tried on all my work clothes, i even planned my outfits for THE WHOLE WEEK!haha. abit kiasu right. but its just to reassure myself. i went out yesterday so when i was with my mum shopping at jurong east i was really grumpy. i even rolled my eyes at a salesgirl. haha. i know, i was super mean. but i couldn't help ittt!! i'm just so stressed. haha. this is really weird. i always thought working was fun and exciting and everything. maybe it isn't after all.

i just read the papers today. yeah, i really read the papers. haha. can't wait for later. i'm going out with my mom to shop!!! i know, shopping with your mom isn't the best thing in the whole wide world. but at least i get to buy stuff. yeahhh. oh yaoqi says broccoli by mcfly is nice, i shall go listen to it! the name sounds funny, reminds me of veggitales. haha. maybe they should make another single called cauliflower. heh heh. okay. oh yeah. today's newspaper said something about survivor and the whites' domination. what shit. flica just got voted out. hahaha. so they are on par with the asians. who are intact save for caoboi. i think i'm quite an expert on survivor even though i only watch one episode. i've been reading the sypnosis religiosly!! hahhaha. they are very detailed. and i've been voting for yul too . he's currently MOST POPULAR!!at least my efforts paid off.. i feel like a loser. hahaha.

today was a really really tiring day. i never felt so tired. and i realised today (again) that suntec city is the WORST designed shopping centre in singapore. i dread the thought of going there again!! ahhhh.... oh i was just reading yaoqi's blog. i'm freakin jealous. but even if i won i probably wont be able to go anyway. yeah back to suntec. i was supposed to meet yitseng at suntec at 10, but she only reached city hall at freaking 10.20. and its a 20 minute walk from the mrt to the cinema. it sucks man. then we spent loads of time finding yami yogurt, which seemed like a waste cos it wasnt' open, but then we bribed the auntie at the counter and she let yitseng buy, and gave me a free sample! she was so nice. oh then we got tix for 'the covenant', and waited for estelle. the movie was at 11-15, so there was only like us, and a couple and this guy who is so lonely so he watched the movie on his own. we tried the huge director seats at the back. or love seats. whatever. haha. and i suggested we could be a threesome! and yitseng said 3's a crowd. haha thats funny. oh the covenant was O-KAY. it wasn't very good, it wasnt't bad either. actually, the only plus point was that it was full of good looking people. it was supposed to be a bit scary, but only estelle was scared. i was just VERY COLD. oh oh, i think i shall put some movie pictures here.
